Jamao al Norte is one of the many ecotourism territories in the Dominican Republic, located in the province of Espaillat, just 2 hours and 30 minutes from Santo Domingo. Surrounded by green hills and mountains with pleasant temperatures almost all year round, this tourist destination offers various adventure experiences according to the interest of the tourist who visits, from taking a dip in the Yasica River, to perform multiple activities such as tubing, kayaking, rock climbing and much more, all this, with the particularity that all these tours are conducted and guided by the same people who live in the community, developing with this, a sustainable and responsible community tourism.
