Day 1

Meeting at the International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Night tour of the Salvador Allende Port and free time to have dinner and enjoy the nightlife. Accommodations in Managua.

Day 2

Breakfast. Visit to the old Managua: the new and the old Cathedral, the National Palace and its museum, and the National Theater.

Visit to the Masaya handicraft market (free time to buy souvenirs) and lunch. Continue to the Catarina Viewpoint, which is one of the highest sites to enjoy the spectacular views of Apoyo Lagoon, Lake Nicaragua, and the Mombacho Volcano. To end the day, a night tour of the Masaya Volcano to observe the lava lake. Dinner in Masaya. Accommodations in Granada.

Day 3

Breakfast. Granada City Tour and tour of the Islets of Granada. Lunch. In the afternoon, departure to the Bay of San Juan del Sur. At night, depending of the season, there will be a tour to observe the nesting of turtles, or a San Juan del Sur night city tour. Accommodations in San Juan del Sur.

Day 4

Free day at leisure. In the afternoon, departure for Managua. Accommodations in Managua.

Day 5

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to continue the itinerary in San Salvador.

Day 6

Breakfast. Departure for the historic center, with its monuments, squares and old buildings such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace and Theater, and the high relief map. Continue to Panchimalco, a village of indigenous origin, where we will find the Colonial Church of Santa Cruz, the house of culture, and the Gallery of Miguel Angel. Visit to the handicraft market. Accommodations in San Salvador.

Day 7

Breakfast. Departure for the archaeological site of San Andrés, the ceremonial center in the area. We will visit its Museum, structures and the Obraje, continuing towards Joya de Cerén, the place where we will observe the way of life of an ancient civilization. Departure for the Boquerón Volcano, to visit the natural reserve that houses it, passing by the Black Sea, formed by the lava rock left by the last eruption in 1917. Return to our hotel. Accommodations in San Salvador.

Day 8

After traveling from San Salvador to Honduras, transfer to Copán. Accommodations in Copán.

Day 9

Breakfast. Visit to the archaeological site of Copán to admire its majestic beauty, characterized by the magnificent colors in its sculptures. It is one of the most important archaeological sites of the ancient Mayan Civilization, located in the Municipality of Copan Ruins. Visit to the Rosa pyramid, the structures, and the Culture Museum. Picnic lunch. Rest of the day free at leisure. Accommodations in Copán.

 

 

Day 10

Breakfast. Departure for the industrial city of Honduras, San Pedro Sula. We will take a panoramic tour of the city, with a stop at the Handicraft Market, so you can buy a souvenir made by Honduran hands. Transfers to the airport to take a flight to Roatán. Accommodations in Roatán.

Day 11 and 12

Day 11

Breakfast. In the morning, snorkeling tour of the coral reef areas to appreciate the beauty of the area, which belongs to the 2nd largest reef in the world. Rest of the day free at leisure. Accommodations in Roatán.

Day 12

After breakfast, transfer to the International Airport to take you flight. End of services.
