The Zona Rosa is known as the epicenter of culture, gastronomy and nightlife. The area is surrounded by modern buildings, museums, restaurants with a wide and exquisite menu, embassies, offices and shopping centers, making it an essential stop on your visit to El Salvador.

Two of the most important and recognized museums in El Salvador are within the Zone, those are the David J. Guzmán Museum of Anthropology (MUNA) and the Museum of Art of El Salvador (MARTE). In the MUNA you can explore the pre-Hispanic past, the colonial miscegenation and the identity of El Salvador. If you visit this destination, you will learn about the culture and history of the country, including aspects of migration and roots, agriculture, craft production, industry and exchange, religion, and pre-Hispanic burials from different eras. If you like plastic arts, you cannot miss visiting the Museum of Art of El Salvador (MARTE), where tribute is paid to Salvadoran art. Its permanent rooms and private collections show a great panorama of Salvadoran art from the mid-19th century to the present.

The Zona Rosa, has the widest variety of bars, restaurants, cafes to enjoy your stay. It is recognized for its great development in the tourism field, mainly hotels and nightlife in the city with discos, live music, cozy and fun spaces. It also has art galleries, beauty salons; as well as two international bus stations.
