Day 1

Arrival at the airport, San Salvador city tour, with visit to the main landmarks of the city. Welcome Mayan dinner based on pupusas and chocolate, traditional Salvadoran food. Return to the hotel, accommodations in a 5-star hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Route of the Flowers. On the way, we will visit the Joya de Cerén archaeological site, and will then transfer to Lake Coatepeque to have lunch with a spectacular view of the lake, and listen to the traditions of the place (lunch not included). Transfer to Concepción de Ataco and accommodations. We will enjoy afternoon coffee, and learn all about the importance of this area’s culture and traditions. Dinner at your leisure.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer directly to La Antigua Guatemala. Accommodations at the hotel of your choice. Traditional welcome dinner show at Hotel La Posada de Don Rodrigo. Return to the hotel.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel. La Antigua Guatemala City tour, visiting the music museum, churches and convents, and the city’s main streets. Free afternoon.

Day 5

Transfer to Guatemala City, and city tour. Visit to the historic center, and the country map in high relief. Have lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, transfer to the city of Copán Ruinas. Overnight at Hotel Marina Copán.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit to the Archaeological Park of Copán Ruinas, and to the graves. Then, visit to the museum. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Enjoy the afternoon free to learn about this emblematic Mayan city.

Day 7

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, transfer to Suchitoto in El Salvador, enjoy a delicious welcome lunch in an iconic restaurant of the town of Suchitoto. Tour of the city to learn more about indigo and its crafts, visit art galleries, and the pier de San Juan. Accommodations based on your choice of hotels.

Day 8

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Monseñor Oscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport, according to the departure time of your flight.
