Day 1

Arrival to El Salvador International Airport and welcome by an agency representative. Transfer to the selected hotel or similar close to the airport.

Breakfast and departure of the hotel. Transfer to Suchitoto city known for its indigo looms, the Suchitlan lake, museums and art galleries. Walking tour by the main streets, plazas and monuments. Check in and lodging in selected hotel or similar.

Day 3

Suchitoto, Cihuatan

Breakfast and transfer to Cihuatan, one of the best archeological sites in El Salvador. Walking tour for its interpretive trails, visiting the acropolis, some pyramids structures and the museum. Then, transfer to the rum local factory, for to known the made process of this aromatic and delicious beverage made of sugar cane, to end our tour we will have a tasting of the different rums that the factory produce. Back to the hotel and the afternoon off.

Day 4

Suchitoto, Joya de Ceren, Honduras Copan

Breakfast and departure of the hotel and transfer to Copan. On the way we will visit Joya de Ceren archeological site, declared by UNESCO World Heritage. Joya de Ceren is one of the most important archeological sites of the “Mayan World, because it shows the remains of a unique farming village in all of Mesoamerica that was cover by the ashes of the Caldera volcano eruption 1400 years ago, nowadays we can see some housing structures of the time in good condition. In the evening arrival to Copan. Check in and lodging in selected hotel or similar. Border crossing El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

Day 5

Copan

Breakfast. Departure to Copan archaeological park declared by UNESCO World Heritage. Copan was a city of the old Maya civilization that similar Joya de Ceren, belong to the fabulous “Mayan World”. Walking tour by the acropolis that is a big complex of pyramids, plazas, palaces, stelas, and a beautiful field of maya ball play. Back to the hotel and afternoon free.

Day 6

Copan, Antigua Guatemala

Breakfast and departure of the hotel. Transfer to Antigua Guatemala. On the way we will have a panoramic view of Guatemala city. Arrival to Antigua Guatemala in the evening. Check in and lodging in selected hotel or similar. Border crossing Honduras and Guatemala.

Day 7

Antigua Guatemala

Breakfast. Walking tour by the main streets, monuments and plazas of Antigua Guatemala declared by UNESCO World Heritage. Panoramic view of Arco de Santa Catalina, la Merced Church, Main Park, San José Cathedral, the Captains’ Palace. Back to the hotel and afternoon off.

Day 8

Antigua Guatemala, Ataco, El Salvador

Breakfast and departure of the hotel. Transfer to Ataco and arrival in the afternoon. This little village is famous for its coffee farms, wood craft and looms, located at 1200 meters above sea level. Walking tour by its main streets, monuments and plazas. Check in and lodging in selected hotel or similar. Border crossing Guatemala, El Salvador.

Day 9

Ataco

Breakfast. In the morning visit to a coffee farm to learn about the process of growing and packing this delicious aromatic beverage. In the afternoon visit to the little villages of Apaneca and Salcoatitan in the “Flowers Routes”, also here can practices a lot of adventures sports. Back to the hotel.

Day 10

Ataco, Cerro Verde, San Salvador

Breakfast and departure of the hotel. Transfer to San Salvador, on the way we will visit “Los Volcanoes National Park” located at 2000 meters above sea level. Here we will have an impressive views of the Izalco and Ilamatepec volcanoes and Cerro Verde. Hike by the trails of the Cerro Verde crater with amazing views of Coatepeque lake. To end of the evening arrival to San Salvador city. Check in and lodging in selected hotel or similar.

Day 11

San Salvador and Volcano

Breakfast and city tour. Bus tour through the main avenues, monuments and squares of the side modern city. Then arrival to the historical downtown of the city, visit to the Rosario church unique for its architectural style in Central America, visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, and plazas Gerardo Barrios, Francisco Morazán and Libertad. Panoramic view of the National Palace and National Theater. Then transfer to san Salvador volcano located at 1860 meters above sea level and visit the huge crater called “El Boquerón” of 1.5 kilometers of diameter and 558 meters of deep. Hike around the crater with impressive views. Back to the hotel and afternoon off.

Day 12

Surf City

Breakfast and departure of the hotel. Transfer to Surf City at 35 minutes of San Salvador city. Check in and lodging in selected hotel or similar. Day off for to enjoy of the beach or to take surf classes.

Day 13

Surf City, International Airport

Breakfast and day off for to enjoy of the beach or take surf classes. At the specific time, departure of the hotel and transfer to El Salvador International Airport.
