We recommend to bring…

Passport. Entry and exit fees.

In rural areas, and due to temperature changes, it is always a good idea to bring long sleeve shirts and even a jacket for the coldest places. Long sleeved shirts are also comfortable at night, as they will protect you from mosquitoes. You will also need light clothes, such as cotton shirts, because the temperatures can get quite hot. Be sure to bring a good pair of walking shoes for any excursion where open shoes are not recommended. Also, be sure to bring a pair of beach sandals and light shoes for when it is much hotter outside. Bring an umbrella, regardless of whether it is the wet or dry season.

Basic baggage list: sunblock, light jacket, raincoat, poncho, mosquito repellent, shirts and long-sleeved shirts, medications, sandals and swimsuit, toiletries, comfortable walking shoes, binoculars, shorts and long pants, camera, hat or cap.
