Experience a new side of Central America with this fascinating twist on an old favourite- Tikal Maya Ruins on a side trip to Eastern Guatemala. Find the adventure of a lifetime with an all-inclusive 3- night stay at Caves Branch Jungle Lodge featuring a unique playground full of jungle & cave activities, then off to Guatemala for 3 nights at one of Francis Ford Coppola’s Boutique Hotel collections with the highlight being the majestic Maya ruins of Tikal. From there, travel through the central and southern regions of Belize for the last 4 wondrous nights on one of Belize’s most beautiful beach properties-Chabil Mar Villas in Placencia Village.

Day 1

Arrive in Belize. Meet and greet at the International Airport by driver from Caves Branch Jungle Lodge. Check-in and welcome drinks and orientation about the property. Accommodations and dinner (served Buffet-Style) at 6:00 pm.

Activities for the next day will be organized on your first evening.

Day 2

Breakfast at Caves Branch- 8:00 am.

Depart on your first full day adventure tour at 9:00 am. Your adventure tour today can consist of the exciting Waterfall Cave Expedition – conquering six or seven underground waterfalls inside one cave. Tour includes gear, guides and full lunch.

Return to the Lodge and relax by the pool for the remainder of the afternoon. Your next adventure will be planned at dinner time, at 6:00 pm.

Day 3

Breakfast at 8:00 am; prepare to head off on your second day tour.

This can be a combination of the Belize Zoo and canopy tour. Lunch is not included on this adventure. Return to the Lodge; enjoy a unique Cheese Tasting tour at the on-site Cheese House – COMPLIMENTARY!

Relax and enjoy dinner at 6:00 pm.

Day 4

Check-out and transfer from Caves Branch Lodge to the western border where a driver will meet you and take you to La Lancha Resort, on the shores of Lake Petén Itza in Guatemala.

Check-in and orientation about the property. Accommodations. Enjoy lunch and dinner at La Lancha.

Day 5

Breakfast at La Lancha. Transfer to Maya ruins of Tikal. The guided tour includes entrance fees and lunch.

Return to the resort and relax for the rest of the afternoon. Dinner at La Lancha.

Day 6

Breakfast at La Lancha. Relax today and venture into the nearby city of Flores, Petén, for shopping, sight-seeing or exploring local restaurants.

Enjoy a lovely afternoon at the pool and then top off your last evening with a lovely sunset horseback riding tour.

Day 7

Breakfast at La Lancha.

Shuttle back to the Belize border for a connection back to the Belmopan airstrip for a local flight to Placencia. The flight will change planes in Belize City before continuing on to the southern Beach village. Your hotel representative will meet you at the airstrip for your ride to the hotel.

Arrive at Chabil Mar Villas, welcome drinks and orientation. Accommodations for the next three nights.

Day 8

Breakfast at Chabil Mar Villas.

Since you have two tours to choose from, you can select either a boat tour through the Monkey River, or a Guided Tour of Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve, or the Maya ruins of Lubaantun, or Nim Li Punit. These tours are full day tours.

Return from your day tour and explore the village using your golf cart.

Dinner at Chabil Mar Villas.

Day 9

Breakfast at Chabil Mar Villas. Another day tour for you to select and explore beautiful Belize.

Return to the resort in the afternoon. Explore the village using your golf cart.

Dinner can be arranged at one of the participating restaurants in Placencia Village for some cultural immersion.

Day 10

Breakfast at Chabil Mar Villas. Explore the barrier reef of Belize with a full-day snorkel trip in southern Belize. Tour includes the guided tour and entrance fees.

Return to the resort in the mid-afternoon; relax by the pool with a drink or two, and then enjoy your last dinner in Belize!

Day 11

Breakfast and checkout from Chabil Mar Villas. Shuttle to the airstrip for flight from Placencia to Belize International Airport for departure from Belize.
