- By air:
- Honduras is a two hours flight from major U.S. cities: Miami, New Orleans and Houston.
- There is an international air service provided by American Airlines, Continental Airlines, TACA, COPA Airlines, Delta Airlines, Aero Mexico, Aerocaribean (direct flights to Havana) and Spirit Airlines.

PRODUCTS AND TOURIST DESTINATIONS:
- Archaeology: Copan, the Mayan city most studied and best understood, discovered in 1570 by Diego García de Palacio, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. Coupled with the fact of having the most elaborate stone sculptures, Copán is intensely studied in addition to being the best preserved Mayan archaeological site, which has served to gain a better understanding of the Mayan Culture. After decades of archaeological study by reputable international institutions and sponsored by magazines such as National Geographic, Copan is the only place where two Mayan Queens have been found. Copán is located in close proximity to the border with Guatemala. Copan is known as the Athens of the New World and as the jewel crown of Mayan art.
- Scuba / Sun and Beach in Roatanin the islands of Bahía. Roatan is the largest island and most populated. There you can find the Institute of Marine Sciences where you can swim with dolphins, and the Carambola Botanical Gardens that has a wonderful collection of orchids. The destination has beautiful beaches with the reef close to shore, a perfect setting for snorkeling in its waters. Nature reserves are common on the island highlighting one in particular: the one dedicated to the conservation of four species of iguanas. In East Roatan is possible to see the picturesque pier where local fishermen work, mainly devoted to the capture of lobsters, prawns and seafood, and always accompanied by inseparable clouds of gulls and other seabirds.
