País Costa Rica

Founded in 1737, retains few vestiges of the colonial period, but is perhaps one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Central America. San Jose offers the best museums in the country: Pre-Columbian Gold Museum, Jade Museum, National Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art and Children's Museum, in addition to the architectural crown jewel of Costa Rica: The National Theatre. Theatres, dancing, popular festivals, dance halls where tropical rhythms vibrate, and hot clubs are part of the cultural and entertainment ambiance of the city. Because public transport and road networks depart from the city, is the best place to establish the base camp and go from here to national parks, forests and beaches in the country. One of the hallmarks of San Jose is the friendliness of its people. To any questions you make you get a smile and a genuine interest in helping. This is the Tico character, the living culture. A modern city with a dynamic cultural and leisure life, good restaurants and a mild climate. Shopping centres, reflecting its modernity, its accommodation capacity and good communications make it an excellent destination for meetings and business.
